Medical Team #8, scheduled for October 1-11, 2020 in Tegucigalpa has begun forming. We are still looking for doctors, dentists, pharmacists, providers, nurses, nursing students, EMT’s, medical professionals.

It will be led by Dr. Robert Armstrong, retired from the Guthrie Clinic, who has led 7 teams previously. Those teams have served a combined number of over 8,000 patients in the 70 days of clinics that were held.

SPECIAL ITEM NEEDED: 600 bottles of .5 oz liquid tears

Medical Team 8 is collecting 600 bottles of .5oz liquid tears. Due to all the diesel and air pollution in Honduras they have chronic dry eyes. Liquid tears just puts moisture back in them. We don’t need the expensive name brand. Generic is fine.

We cannot use any kind that has medication is them— example is Visine 

Examples: Sterile Artificial Tears. Generic works fine. TheraTears Lubricant Eye Drops. GenTeal Tears Lubricant Eye Drops
