School Sponsored Children

“One Child School Sponsorship” is a program that links a SPONSOR to a child in the Tegucigalpa area of Honduras.

All children are vetted by Michael and Glenda before approval. They also support each child throughout the year with follow up evaluations of their performance, and work with parents, teachers and staff to help each child succeed to the best of their ability.

Public School in Honduras requires a tuition and a uniform in order to attend.

Your sponsorship provides:

A brand new uniform each year, shirts, blouses, pants, skirts, which also includes shoes, sneakers and socks.
All additional school supplies
For you, translated letters that can be exchanged between student and sponsor.
For you, a refrigerator magnet picture frame of your sponsored child.

Forms are provided below. For online payments there are additional fees to cover processing:

Grades 1-6 is $185.00 if renewing online

Grades 7-12 is $298.00 if renewing online

INFOP is $328.00 if renewing online

We are 50% less expensive than all the other non-profit ministries.

90% of all the funds coming in are applied to the child/children who are sponsored. While other ministries use 25% for overhead costs.

We have graduated 584 students with an Associate Degree and all have gone on to further their education or found work in Honduras.

Our ministry provides:

Support covers the following basic needs:

One tailored uniform including a dress shirt underneath and dress shoes.
One gym uniform (sweatpants, T-shirt, and a pair of sneakers)
Basic school supplies: backpack, pencils, pens, erasers, notebooks, project materials, scissors,

dictionary, rulers, subject schoolbooks, glue etc.

We keep a track of our sponsored children and send grades at the end of each semester, also do regular monthly check in with each student and their teachers.

Beginning of each year a sponsor receives an informational package and Year end Christmas Package.

90% of our sponsors come from the Twin Tiers area.

We have been sponsoring children for 20+ years.
