Providing School Supplies to the Children of Comayagua – January 2022

The team of Brad and Janet Hinman and Gayle Oldenbusch worked at the Miller’s home to assemble school supply kits for the children at the squatter’s community in Comayagua.  The kits contain basic supplies of notebooks, math utensils, pens and pencils, scissors, etc.

We traveled to Comayagua and visited each home in the school program.  Our team included Janet, Brad, Amber, Charlie, Gayle, Mike, Glenda and Andrea. 

We walked to the homes and presented the packets.  The children and families greeted us with hugs, and were excited to receive their packets.  They all expressed their gratitude for Border Buddies help.
