Restrictions Start to Lift in Tegucigalpa

Yesterday, May 20th, 2020, Michael and Glenda we are able to leave the mission house together for the first time in nine weeks. We had recently received some funds from generous donors to buy food for the most needy of the families the ministry is connected to, so they had a mission to complete before anything changed in regard to the policy of restrictions . Up until now they haven’t been able to go out except to get necessities except on their designated day of the week (which was a different day for each of them) or else they could be arrested. So this was a great day!

Michael texted this message, “Just got done purchasing food for 30 more families. We will be well over 50 families fed and I think another 10 or more.” They bought a LARGE amount of food and then bagged it up for distribution to individual families. He sent these photos along to show us what it looks like.

Here are a few photos of just some of the people who received much needed food. It has been a long haul. You can’t imagine how much this means to them.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED AND TO EVERYONE WHO IS PRAYING FOR MIKE, GLENDA, OUR HONDURAN TEAM, ALL OUR SPONSORED KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES, AS WELL AS ALL OF HONDURAS.

Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
