Besides graduation ceremonies, youth groups, and trying to close out the year; we have been busy in meeting with parents to talk about change, what is up and coming for their school and how they can volunteer their time to bless all the children that attend. In the top two photos demonstrates in what we do behind the scenes. We have a passion to constantly meet with the parents. We strive to build relationships so we can usher in change in the name of Jesus Christ. It is our goal to erase bad culture and bad habits in the thinking of selfishness. We want to not just provide classrooms and kitchens but we want to establish trust within themselves and also a volunteer concept to further grow their school. In this meeting we hosted about 85 mothers at the Roberto Sosa School. This attendance was low considering there are over 500 students who attend. However we were impressed with these mothers. They listened, asked questions, and also expressed their thankfulness in receiving help. They also promised to double the attendance because they now know our hearts and desires for their children and school. We also are working with the mothers who attend our Tailoring class. As you can see in our last 3 photos we have grown considerably. With every class we open with devotion from the word of God and then prayer. We believe this exhorts the mothers to take an outlook that demonstrates a positive attitude. We end the year with a lunch and planning for next year and also we purchase many of the products that the ladies made throughout the year so we can sell them in the US.
