By Michael J. and Glenda Miller, BBM Missionaries, Tegucigalpa, Honduras

What a year for handing out water filters! It was all made possible by our Lord Jesus and all of you who supported this part of the ministry.

Randy and Sid are Brothers in Christ who love to come each year to bless the people of Honduras with clean drinking water. Each year the Lord directs Glenda and I to new places and new faces and sometimes it comes down to the last few months but God seems to provide. This year a teacher from 21st of October High School talked to Glenda and put us into contact with her brother Elihu and it was Elihu who took us deep into the mountains of Intibuca, which located about 4 hours from our home.

Once we visited the various communities and witnessed the people drinking contaminated water we knew we had to help. During the 5 days of the mission this September we traveled 4 hours out and 4 hours back each day and the Lord a provided miracle after miracle with our travels, blessing each day as if saying to us that His favor and hand was upon this help for His people. One of the signs was that this mission happened during the rainy season and the roads in the mountains will get very muddy very quickly. But each day we went out we had pure sunshine. In the evenings it would rain very hard. The next morning we would set out in prayer and when we started our way up the mountain the roads were dry and hard. No mud!! It literally poured buckets each evening but each day the roads were dry. God definitely wanted us there!

At each village we would start assembling the water filter system while Glenda would write down the name of the community, the name of the persons who received the filter, their ID, and phone number. We have maintained this accountability throughout the years and have records of every place we have been. We keep in contact with the communities to make sure they are using the filters, to see if they are having issues and make sure they are maintaining their filters. This is another accountability with the water filter ministry. This year we handed out 641 water filters which blessed 3,205 people with clean drinking water. We also helped 4 public schools with filters for each classroom.

The Gospel was preached and prayer was shared with all. Jesus was the main reason and His name needed to be glorified and His Gospel shared with all of those souls. Each person who received a bucket/filter also received a Bible. This empowers them to read the Gospel on their own. Praise Jesus!!

To date we can say through this program that more than 4,000 water filters have been distributed which means that more than 20,000 people have received the ability to have clean drinking water. Plus the Gospel has been shared to these 4,000 families!!!!

We say, “thank you for all of your support” and pray to see where Jesus will take us in 2027.
