In the middle of April we started our 4th Lunch Program at the Santa Margarita School. In the top photo are the first mothers to take on the challenge to cook for 165 children. They started their day at 6:00am with Mario and me cooking until 10:00am. The joy I saw in their faces was such a blessing. They love serving God and all the children in knowing they will not go without eating. In the past the children would not eat breakfast or not eat lunch because of the lack of.

For us it brings us over the 1,000 mark in feeding children daily. We thank all of you who support BBM, our teams and this kind of work. Without your support of this ministry and these programs, schools will continue to be run down, children will be going hungry, and the youth will not have hope. We want you to know that the vitamins that have been donated are being handed out daily and now these children are being fed daily.

The blessings of being able to pray with the mothers each morning, talk about God and the future for their school was a pure joy for us. May the Lord continue to lead us to more elementary schools to help the need for lunch programs such as this. Hebrews 13:16 “And do not forget to do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices God is Pleased”
