July 2013 – OPERATION VITAMINS

1. All 385 children will be given vitamins for a year.  2. Every teacher from each grade was given a bag of vitamins .

3. We are helping at least 4 schools with vitamins.   4. Talking to the Director of Schools about the need for vitamins.

One of the focuses that we share with all of you back home is the need to take care of the children spiritually, with an education and also with their health. Steve and Lisa who attend Victory Highway Wesleyan Church have led teams or have been a part of teams for the last 5 years have felt the calling to help the children with vitamins. With the help from their entire team that came in the beginning of July 2013 brought down hundreds of pounds of vitamins. Already we have blessed three schools with over 900 students in total. This means that these children grades 1-6 will be taking a multi vitamin every day for the rest of the year. We still plan on giving vitamins to the Roberto Sosa School where we are at right now and we will still have enough to bless other schools in need. While dropping off the vitamins to the Fuerzas Armadas School many of the children ran up and asked if their classroom was going to be blessed like years past with vitamins. We hugged them and said yes. They smiled and ran to their classrooms and waited for us to drop off a bag to their teacher. Most kids hate taking medicines or vitamins in the States, but these children know that the vitamins will help them to grow up stronger and healthier. We want to say THANK YOU to all of our teams for bringing down so many donations like vitamins, clothes, deodorant, schools supplies, craft projects, sneakers/shoes, and so much more. The children and adults are blessed by the Love we all share in Jesus Christ.
