“Baptism for New Believers”

What a way to start off the year with lots and lots of Salvations and Baptisms. In the top right photo I was blessed to lead all 11 boys to Jesus Christ and then be able to Baptize them was another blessing.

Two of the 11 are from my youth group and the other 9 are from our Satellite Youth Group that is located in another Barrio. The 2 girls came to Christ last year with me while in youth group and were Baptized the same day.

While we were Baptizing two other Baptist churches were baptizing as well and you could feel the Holy Spirit present. We closed out with a prayer and started to head back. I had in my heart to ask Jenifer Nicoll’s mom if she wanted to receive Jesus Christ as her Savior but I held back because last year during the Baptism I asked and she said a firm “NO”. So while walking back Karla said to Glenda, “how come Michael didn’t ask me this year.?” Glenda said, Honey I need you.” I knew then that God wasn’t finished with His work.

In the 5th photo Karla received Christ as her Savior. I then asked Jenny who was also put on my heart and she as well in the pink shirt came to Christ (6th photo). I was blessed to be able to Baptize 2 more for the Kingdom of God. With Karla I Baptized her, her son, and 2 daughters.

It is an amazing thing when God does the calling and we have the pleasure to see the transformation in front of our eyes. “Born Again” Before I Baptize I always give them a revelation from the Lord to exhort them and asking God to feel His Anointing put on them.
